CAMPER PARKING
The Municipality of Gropparello has an EQUIPPED CAMPER PARKING AREA with the possibility of loading and unloading waste water.
The area is located in Via Circonvallazione, at the corner with Via Dante Alighieri, and has a capacity of about 20 campers. From there, to get to the castle, go down the pedestrian corridor on Via Circonvallazione, and it's an 8-minute walk.

The territory of the Municipality of Gropparello, compared to other Municipalities of the Piacentino Apennines, offers a great variety of landscapes since, having a narrow and elongated shape in a north - south direction, it occupies both properly mountainous areas such as those of Obolo and Groppovisdomo, where you exceed a thousand meters above sea level between vast expanses of wood, both low-hill areas such as those of Sariano or Montechino, a privileged viewpoint over the whole plain, where the countryside is dotted with numerous farms. The organization of the landscape in the hilly areas is still affected by the millennial subdivision of the territory into numerous small fiefdoms, each of which had its own defensive fortress generally placed in a dominant position. From the mountain to the plain, the territory of the Municipality of Gropparello is crossed by the parallel course of the Chero, Vezzeno and Riglio streams, which give rise to the three homonymous valleys.
